  • between 10am and 11am   $200 cash plus fishing gear

    between 2pm and 3pm$200 cash plus fishing gear

Entry form

  • Download an entry form (PDF file 86Kb), print, complete and either mail with your cheque or drop off at Lake Burley Griffin
    Boat Hire.   You pick up your competition card on the day.

Terms and Conditions of Entry

  • To be held on Sunday 15th February 2009 from 7.00am to 3.45pm
  • Weigh station will be at Acton Ferry Terminal
  • Carp and Redfin are the only fish to be weighed-in
  • All fish must be weighed by 3.45pm
  • You are encouraged to release all native fish
  • Fishing is restricted to the shores of Lake Burley Griffin
  • Prize awarded for mystery weight fish
  • If two or more entries have the same weight a separate draw will take place to find a winner
  • Prizes awarded for mystery weigh-in times between 10.00am and 3.00pm
  • All prizes will be won
  • Maximum of ten fish per entry card
  • Only paid entries will be eligible
  • Presentation of prizes start at 4.00pm, Acton Ferry Terminal
  • You must be present to claim prize
  • Adult entry is $12 per card
  • Child entry is $7 per card (up to 12 years old)
  • The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
